As a few of you guys have noticed I just received my new 17-55 2.8 IS, but due to its poor built quality and what I thought its rather "rustic" picture looks ( as someone has described it before--which is right on) with a rather high premium price, I have ordered thee 24-70L. I figured for the price I am paying, I might as well go for the L lens. Now I would like to hear from those of you who have experienced B&H return policy... I hope to have good reassurance.

it's 14 days for lenses, however if it's defective then it's under warranty. the 14 day is just if you don't like it, but it works fine.

Under these conditions, they do charge a 15% restocking fee, don't they?

Thank you guys for your help... so I understand it is in fact 14-day return policy with no restocking fee that is if everything still looks like new. What I meant by rustic ( term borrowed by another POTN fellow) is perhaps the lack of vibrant color? saturation?... I feel the pictures look a bit too dull, perhaps I have got used too much to my L lenses (35L and 70-200 2.8 IS)? but that is non-sense because I feel (again perhaps my opinion here) my 85 1.8 still gives out better pictures right out with no PP--yes, I remember my first time acquiring this lens, I was blown away...and for the price. Pictures quality were off until I read another forum fellow's comments, and I knew what he was referring to.
