Is that the San Diego Zoo specimen? They're apparently very rare in the wild.

why yes it is, i would probably freak if i saw it in the wild. Not because of how rare it is but because of how scary looking it is (It stood over 4 feet tall)

I believe you would need to go on an African Safari to see one in the wild. ;)

I'm always interested in birds I haven't seen before so did some reading up on it after you posted the image. Another interesting tidbit is this bird has another nickname - whalehead.
