Here in Finland those bigger birds are quite rare to see.
Yeah, 7D does pretty good job, had to play safe with this one, ISO was on AUTO.
A bit sharpening and noise reduction was done sure.

I've been photographing a mated pair of Bald Eagles for the past (3) years. The female was very proud of her brood patch, and her (2) offspring were active in the nest.
I'm hopeful that this terrible weather pattern will break, and blue skies will prevail.
The 400mm is longing for blue skies ! :)

EXIF says ef70-200 f/4L IS usm of this last photo - GMC PHOTOGRAPHICS , not 400 mm 5,6L R.O.

Yep ,I concur Photome says the same at 127 mm , but it is a very nice photo with a 70 -200 f4 L IS :)
