It's AF. The 5D3 will AF at f/8 with the Kenko 1.4x DGX and the AF is pretty good. Pity it won't AF with the Canon extender.

Got myself this lens this week, never owned anything over 200mm before... Its been a while since I used anything over 100mm without IS too.. forgot how shaky my hands are! .

i saw the F-22 flying around SF that friday afternoon during my lunch hour.

was totally hating myself for leaving my camera at home.

Just received my copy on Wednesday and am loving it already. Auto focuses with my MkIIn and Canon EF 1.4 II extender (center focus point only). F8 is tuff, but haven't broken out the flash yet. This is on a cloudy day, spitting rain.
