I'm stuck in a conundrum. Does anyone here have any hands on experience with the latest incarnation of the Sigma 120-300 2.8 OS as well as this lens? Can you compare the focal speed/accuracy of the two? The 400L is lighter but I've tried older incarnations of the Sigma and had no problem handholding. The older Sigmas weren't reliable in the focal accuracy department though. Speed wasn't bad. Sony A9, Pentax K1 MKii, Panasonic G9, Sony 200-600, Samyang 12mm F2 NCS CS, 7Artisans 7.5mm f2.8 fisheye, Panagor 90mm f2.8 Macro (OM), , Sigma APO 2x DG EX TC, Tiffen aXent ND 3.0 (ND1000) filter, Olympus OMD E-M5(drown in the Atlantic), Oly 14-42mm, Oly 12-50mm, ZEQ25gt Mount, plus a few other lenses, extension tubes, and general mish-mash

The eagle actually sat there for 3 hours! I've never gotten within 100 yards of one, but I didn't even see this one until I was 30 feet from him. I think he was a immature one - too young to be wary of people... Bodies: Canon EOS 1D X | 5D Mark III

These were all taken with the 1.4 extender attached. Was glad to see that the combo works well for in flight shots. Flickr
