Multnomah Falls

No 2 is beautifull but there is one thing missing to make it perfect, a good looking woman swimming in the water...

It would probably have to be a good looking polar bear! That water is cold.

Nice captures. Your time of day was good. I've been told the only way to get it all in one frame is from a boat.

you can get it all in without a boat, you just need a wider angle lens than i had. my 24-135 works out to a 38mm at the wide end, and even with that, i almost got it all in a couple of shots. with a 17mm lens (24 on my 30D body), i could easily have gotten both the upper and lower falls in...

Frank, from what I remember when I was there about four years ago, the water is off-limits to swimming. I believe it's fenced off. squirl should be able to confirm that.

yeah, the pool beneath the falls isn't accessible to the public. you can get under a little footbridge and wiggle your toes in the water downstream, by the gift shop, but i'd guess it's awfully cold!
