This works well, although without the small figures, it wouldn't.

Concentrate on equipment and you'll take technically good photographs. Concentrate on seeing the light's magic colours and your images will stir the soul. - Jack Dykinga

It's a beautiful image. The cloud formation is amazing.

I didn't meant to say: I don't know "technically" how to correct that... but rather: the area I've shot isn't flat in real, so... how do I keep the nature as it is, yet correct the feeling of a "crooked" horizon... it's a walkl on a fine line between flattening everyting out, and leaving the scene as naturally as possible.

thanks for your hint anyway.

cheers

 My bad, I thought the horizon was water spotted with islands, which would be naturally level.

No problem. I sure would react the same way if I didn't know the location. The waddensea poses a real problem in this respect since the sea ground isn't really flat. And when you stand in a lower part of the dry sea ground, you see part of the horizon as the sea level in the distance, but some parts can be sandy ground which then isn't flat, of course. That gives some strange mixtures of making a sea shot, without a really level horizon. Probably, once should either mention that fact in the comment to the picture, or straighten the horizon regardless of the reality...

thanks & cheers
