I'm just wondering if I can play with camera settings( expposure, AV ISO etc) without a lens on and just have the body cap on it? I know it'd make more sense to put the lens on.

Nov 18, 2006 19:08 | #3 LOl I didn't mean for actually taking photos. I was more worried about damage to the camera if it had no lens on and just the body cap. I just want to look through the settings without having to pull out the lens and whack it on. Sounds like it might just be easier to do so. ~350d -- kitlens -- ef 75-300mm -- A610~ 'thank you John'

Why not just mount the lens on and leave it there. Store the camera with it on. 7D MKII ■ 10-22 ■ 15-85 ■ 28-135 ■ Σ 50-150 ■ 70-200 f4L ■ 100-400L ■ 580EX II

Nov 18, 2006 19:47 | #6 Cause the bag that I have won't fit the lens attached as well as the grip on it as well. I'd either have to remove the 75-300mm from the bag in order to get it all to fit ! ~350d -- kitlens -- ef 75-300mm -- A610~ 'thank you John'
