After I got done taking this, I walked back to my car and realized someone had broken out one of my windows and tried to steal my stereo. Now I've got a garbage bag taped to the outside of my car until I can get to a mechanic. Hopefully it won't rain tonight! Oh well, tell me what you think of this...I've been trying to get better at night photography. What can do I to improve. I have alot of trouble with halos from light sources.

Very smooth lines and nice exposure, I'm not too sure about the composition though. The left-hand side doesn't do much for me with the railing, would've prefered to see a vertical frame of just the road, streaks, and skyscrapers. Nice soft color pallete and I like the cool WB.

Bummer about your car window buddy.

I agree with Dorman on this one. Some aspects of the image are really well executed. Too bad the composition takes away from that. The first thing I'm drawn between the lines left by the lights on vehicles on the road and the railing which takes my eye out of the image to the left. Second, I'm drawn to the large, bright street light near the centre of the shot. Once I've delt with those two issues then I can appreciate the good exposure, wb, colour etc. Just my impressions, others see it differently.

The aperture would determin that but I guess that is a byproduct of the ISO :-)

Excellent shot, lots to look at to keep the eyes busy, lines running everywhere, great color, light from the street lamps has a nice soft glow which I perfer in this shot rather than the star effect, exposure is spot on, well done

Thanks for the feedback guys. I agree that the left side is a little dead...but i needed to get that other building in frame too! I was really happy with the exposure expect for those pesky halos. My data is below. I have no idea whats going on with those. I tried tried toning it down in PS, but I think that required superior skills than I possess.
ExposureTime : 20.00Sec
FNumber : F22.0
ExposureProgram : Aperture Priority
ISOSpeedRatings : 100

Great shot! I especially like how the person who was driving stepped on the breaks just as the shutter closed!...see it?...off the right of the photo in the back to the right of the highway sign? I think it's neat:)
