I will be visiting Gatlinburg, Tennessee and probably Severeville as well.

Does anyone have any suggestions on any other places that are a 'must see' there or in that area? I have a few down, but i dont want to skip anything... thanks

I will have a 17-40 and a 70-200 with me.

Cades Cove....just a short drive from Gatlinburg. Clingman's Dome...the highest point in TN is another short drive. Of course Dollywood, Ripley's Aquarium and the strip from Sevierville to Gatlinburg....tons of outlet malls. Be sure to stop into most any store or attraction in the area and grab a discount book. Tons of savings on events, attractions and happenings...no need to ever pay full price!

The buildings are closed...but you can still visit the area until it gets snowed in...no snow yet.

Biltmore in Asheville, NC. Largest private house in the US. Should be decorated for Christmas now. Spectacular place and wonderful grounds and views.
Drive the Blue Ridge Parkway--great views.
btw, Cades Cove is in Smoky Mountain National Park.
