Looks interesting! How did you get the sun to look like that shape?

Photographs are records of life. Pity they don't make music when you put them in a record player. :p

I would also like to know how you got the sun to look like that. Besides that nice photo, did you try one with a fill flash.

Don,t know but that's the only thing about the photo that I don't like.

My intent was to get as slow a shutter speed as I could. I wanted to catch a little wind in the grass. I stopped the lens down, f32 and used a CP as a ND. I'm not really sure what caused that shape. It is very different and I too am not sure if I like it. THanks for the responses.

I didn't think of fill flash, I'll go back and try that.

Not sure about anyone else, but this picture on my monitor looks very wrong?
The orange halo around the sun, part of the sky, and the reflection on the water doesn't sit at all.
I also think it's a bit messy compositionally.
I think this shot needs to be done again.

Sorry for the negativity, but that's just my opinion.

I'm afraid I share AdamJL's opinion on this one. The orange glow seems to be in the foreground in front of the grass? Too many unnatural elements.

Sorry, just my opinion as well.

Joe
