Hey Everyone Im New

Im looking to buy a 400D i think hopefully next weekend so you will be hearing a lot more from me asking questions and advice and tips etc

im getting it at around £500 and i think thats a good price

I have a 30D had the chance to test the 400D and I loved it, welcome to the forum and I'm sure you'll enjoy it. People are really nice and helpful

thanks i cant wait to get it now....i have a point and shoot casio camera and became adicted to taking pics and i have never used a DSLR before and i loved the quick responce of the shutter and how i could take about 5 in the same time i could one on my point and shoot

Your Casio P/S is going to be relegated to the dust bin. My wife bought me a Canon A95 two years ago for Christmas - I finally went DSLR in September and haven't even looked at the A95 since then - I think she's getting the A95 for Christmas this year!!!

You will absolutely love the 400.

Casio EZ600 is the P/S i have...my dad is buying it off me and so i will only technically have to find £250 for the camera

i want it to be next saturday!!!

any first tips on how to use it?

Charge the battery, mount the lens, put in a card, and set it to "P" or "Green Box" and have fun. Chase a duck or two if you see them.
