Alright! Stepping up to a better glass!

It's my FIRST "L" saved a couple hundred dollars by ordering factory refurbished - never thought about it until I stumbled onto a link for REFURBISHED.

Thought I was going to have to wait a few more day to afford it new!

I feel like George Jefferson

........ movin' on up ........

It took a lot of research to do this jump!

Congratulations and enjoy, that is one fine peace of glass!

I am so excited - hopefully it will be here tomorrow!
I got it from Adorama for about $1,400.00 factory refurbished.
Also sent a bit more to get it second day UPS air.
My wife said if I wait for a few days I could just go ahead and buy a new one but I figured if it was refurbished by the factory it will probably work perfect! I hope ...

I am still waiting for my new laptop to get back with it's replacement screen.
Thank goodness (I think) I spent the $500.00 for the 3 year service plan! It's got my CS2 on it!
Boy! am I lost with out that computer!

Since this is such a popular lens, what would be a comparable "L" macro lens for shooting bugs, lizards, and flora?

I am going to push my luck for the end of December or earliy January to get one of those

The only L macro is the 180.

Oh, congrats on the new lens :)

I'm thinking of selling my Sigma and my 200 prime to get this.
