Rhys ... you sound like a country bumpkin who's never travelled further than his own village Post Office

Ohhh Arrrrrr! <chews on a wheat stalk>
Beyond them hills be Englishmen.
You don't want to go there!

Lol.

I am actually well travelled - Rome, Berlin, Riga, Warsaw, Vilnius, Tallinn, Helsinki, New York, Washington DC, Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam etc.

Cities are not my favourite places. I prefer the countryside.

Pete, ideally somewhere similar to where I am now:

Secure development with concierge and secure parking, loft style tho' probably one bed rather than the two I have now, unfurnished, modern, clean, local corner shop, Sainsbury's home delivery :D A decent size studio would do actually as I'm not home that much ... kipping and weekends! Washer and dishwasher essential  Two kitties. Garden would be nice but I know the security problems of a garden flat. Quiet. No noisy as*hole neighbours. £1000 give or take.

Geesh, sounds more Kensington than anything. :p

£1000/mth? Bloody 'ell! *faints*

if you're bussing it to Kings Cross be prepared for delays. That area gets snarled up pretty badly - especially with all the regeneration work going on at the moment. But if you don't mind using the tube then Kings Cross is pretty well connected. You could go north up to Highgate area (your budget might get you something up there) - nice neighbourhood and handy for the Northern Line.
