you two (three?) crack me up.
Tis quite dark outside, so I'll not venture out to take a picture for this wee non-competition. Maybe the next one. Or maybe after this glass of wine that house plant will get it's first real B&W telephoto bokeh-lishes portrait... Only time will tell.

new growth ......... between the strong and virile stems of life
still growing slowly
but most surely .......................

a must 'hang out ' and a favourite place of the old folk to sit under and ponder while having a light up

especially those with memories to die for

Now, Maria, your pterodactyl metered poetry has reduced me to tears.

As soon as the skies lighten up, I shall go to mi lake in search of a wee duck.
Yesterday there was too much fog + I only had a 420mm lens combo on me, and the feathered beastie was ways off the shore.

Disappointing Pete ... I would normally expect to see a reflection of your good self in those droplets.

[COLOR=Sienna] I would never reduce a man to tears

There have been men here so reduced through over zealous use of GIF's in the past.

That Duck is taking the mick isn't he? You couldn't even invent a Duck like that. What was evolution thinking? Is it really real or you make him from Papier-Mâchè?

and pray, where art thou shoots of stout and stalwart beauty dear Condyke ? :D

I dunno ... I am having a lazy weekend falling asleep all the time and the only foliage I have to shoot indoors are prickly Cactus. I may shoot something later and spice this place up ;)

That's a Hooded Merganser.......a cute wee duck, not commonly found where I go shooting.

The only way to spice this place up would be by brimstone smoke or agent orange. The next time when we do this sorta thread it's gotta be invitational.

'Hate to break up this little tete a tete, but how did we score with the last B/W, living/growing shoot, and what, if it's been decided, is our next homework project? The inquisitive public, and the uninvited common folk, want to know....

That Duckie is quite a find. Almost makes the Duck Art Form (Sic!!) respectable. As for this thread we need some kinda Nuklear Bum under it. Invitation only goes against my commie principles (anyway, we tried that didn't we?) We have to understand that folks here prefer to gas rather than shoot. Expecting them to gas AND shoot seems kinda over ambitious

We dunno ... so far they are all such crummy entries hardly worth judgin', tho you and Beth had a sincere go and Marie's 'bush' shot is excellent :o OK, just mine is crummy then  But Sari laid the quiz like an egg of destiny and she needs to hatch it like a Hen of judgement. Understand?

okay... okay... so folks aren't wanting to shoot over this way... It could be simply weekend and better more productive things to take care of. Or, they just don't want to play with Pete and Dave.. that could be it.. or maybe I should really, truly back away from the thread because my contributions aren't going soo well....
