Yesterday there was too much fog + I only had a 420mm lens combo on me, and the feathered beastie was ways off the shore.

That's a Hooded Merganser.......a cute wee duck, not commonly found where I go shooting.

The only way to spice this place up would be by brimstone smoke or agent orange. The next time when we do this sorta thread it's gotta be invitational.

'Hate to break up this little tete a tete, but how did we score with the last B/W, living/growing shoot, and what, if it's been decided, is our next homework project? The inquisitive public, and the uninvited common folk, want to know....

That Duckie is quite a find. Almost makes the Duck Art Form (Sic!!) respectable. As for this thread we need some kinda Nuklear Bum under it. Invitation only goes against my commie principles (anyway, we tried that didn't we?) We have to understand that folks here prefer to gas rather than shoot. Expecting them to gas AND shoot seems kinda over ambitious
