Yup, 'tis time to brew before I fall asleep again :D I think I been working too hard. I am ready for my holiday.

One answer to several concurrent problems would be for you to move to Gothaburgh, wed Klara, get a job with a Sweetish company (a life long sinecura fer sure), befiend Fretty-some-more who can teach ya how to shoot ducks using WA and T/S lenses.

Sure, retirement would suit me well ... even in Swedenland. I doubt Klara could keep me in the manner to which I have bcome accustomed tho'; in fact, she is the kind who would expect to retire herself and lounge around all day doing cross stitch and other 'youth' orentated hobbies

OK, let us plow ahead with the theme of the day, there will always be stragglers.

Growing....no more.

Okay. So, not exactly growing....

And she's *munching* on foliage... and growing fat for the winter....

Oh.

Nevermind.

Puddle gets a very hearty nod in his direction.. lovely nose hairs my friend really lovely..

Marie ofcourse with her tree climbing friends I like this! and allthough the 'hair cutting place' is entertaining isn't quite entertaining to place.

Pete as always has outdone himself, or underdone himself with this particular submission.. something a bit un-petey about it.. But, well done all the same.. I think your water droplets, if done in black and white would place a bit higher.

Dave ofcourse for his imagination is quite a catch.. and extra points for making the bananas look rotten when their not..

I do believe that Beth takes the cake today.. (or marie's banana bread).. lovely shot and I will not nit-pick the bright car bumber in the background..

Does that leave me?.. oh well, the first valiant attempt but a missed mark completely.. the second respectable. nothing outstanding. If I've forgotten anyone point them out to me.. But the above are who stood out.. Now, I suppose it is Beth's turn.. yes, yes it is....Let's hear it Beth...:D

Miss Claire would suggest that you immediately take her on a worldwide tour to see all the pretty photogenic sights that you've seen.. (fair is fair) and she wants to go to India...:D :D .. I don't believe for a second that she is at quite that age to coss stitch.. (the generations are getting muddled in your head).. She is still a concert liking, loud music playing, striving for independence chic.. Yes, yes she is.. ;)

You will be proven wrong missy. I know people. She is a cross-stitcher. Ask her ;)

Agreed. Good choice, tho' I think Marie's shot is the best it doesn't really meet the criteria you established unless you have a rude mind and is thus ineligible

I missed the shoe non-competition, but why not to combine that with this "grow" theme.

100-400@400, 5.6, b&w, bokeh, growing :p, shoe (haven't been used for a while ), artsy , ... (missing something?)

Why thank you. Thank you very much. And as non-winner of this non competition I hereby declare NOISE to be the next focus of your visual capturing skills. Sound. Brouhaha. Dissonance. Interference. Cacophony. Or any other interpretation you care to employ.

Should I ever become widowed, which is doubtful in the extreme, I'd move to Ireland. I like their European 19th century town and country atmosphere. I'd find myself a wee bit younger bride, perhaps, 21-28 yrs age bracket, to take care of me in my old age.
A few things I'd like to learn about them first, like which part of England is Ireland located in ? Furthermore, do they have animals I like to shoot like lawnsharks (see enclosed), treesharks and ducks. Lastly, any Starbucks coffee shops ?

Ireland is in the English County of Condymarie on the West coast. There are similar animals and birds to what you find in Canukia: some stuffed of course as they are not native. Canada Geese, Mallard, Grey and Red Squiggles, Cats and Dogs are all common. We have many Starmucks Cafe/bars were young yuppies may meet to select an older bride or groom and so build a nest with them. You would be at home and soon find a desparate bride. We have many asylums too and various pills and potions and ointments are free, or low priced.
