That's Dave's very own self-administering ECT kit, totally portable and battery operated. The 'white thingies " are ear electrodes.

  It can be mains operated too. Useful when Perm is around and I want to drown out those scary voices and cheezy GIF's ;)

What? Did you say noise?
Man this thread moves way too fast for us old folks. :)

Yup ... we all got wheelchairs here :D

That's a good shot son ... almost a pea-pickin' prize winner :D but Beth is da judge and exelectrocutioner, so we'[ll see ;)

not sure if noisy pictures are still on

so....when do we move to another topic?

Permagrin wrote in post #2320065 (external link)
I thought "noise" ended yesterday....nothing new?

You guys are SOOOO impatient!! It was either end the contest five hours after it was posted or wait 'til I got home from work today. :p

Thank you veddy much.

Okay. All doggie pics, REJECTED! I love them dearly, but this group can do much better than backyard snapshots! :p

And it seems that many are ignoring non-rule #2:

2. Within a 24 hour period you shoot shots of any quality and taken anywhere

So, again, REJECTED!

So, while a very close pick between Olli's PSed red bird butt and PeaPicker's lovely shot of two very annoying cartoon characters.....

This non-competition goes to non-winner, old-folk PeaPicker! You're up dear! What will our next non-competition topic be?

Beth

Well, here on the US West Coast (GMT -8) we get the contest topic late in the evening and it closes before wokr ends the next day...leaves really limited options for shooting, except on the weekends.

...and for the record, my doggie shot was taken indoors -- not a backyard snapshot!

;)

I woke up this morning.. or rather was woken up by a small person telling me 'up sasa.. peese get up and take me Mcdonalds'.. so, after pancakes and sausage for Kaed, and two cups of really bad coffee for me I went to the eye doctors and got my new glasses, went home did Kaed's hair up in a 'twisty pony' and my hair matching hers, by request, and we met up with her mom, one of my cousins and her two daughters to see Barnyard.. when I asked the three year old if she wanted to go see Barnyard she got confused so halfway through the movie she was asking to go to the Barnyard now...  .. after that I took my time heading back up the mountain. I went to the bookstore and wanted to find a Big map of Africa but they only had sections of Africa.. and no good books for traveling to Africa.. so, I gave up and figured I could look online... And then ofcourse I hit the snowstorm in the dark so a hundred miles going thirty miles an hour.. it took me awhile, then had to stop at the grocery store.. (I was down to a jar of peanutbutter).. and home to put things away, do laundry change into pj's and i'm now watching the Hallmark channel and trying to catch up with the last day or so on POTN...

Speaking of snow, Perm, did you get any where you're at? We had a bunch here this morning. I took the dog out at 5:00 a.m. and there was nothing, then when I left for work around 7:15 everything was covered. Later, while at work it really hit and we had a bunch all of a sudden.

I went downtown for a meeting and it was blue sky and no snow anywhere! Weird.

I got to drive through a blizzard tonight... there's about two more feet since I left on Saturday.. pain in the butt and the first time the roads in town haven't been kept up.. I really need to remember to put the snow boots on before I leave the valley so i'm not walking in a few feet of snow in sneakers...  ..

Yeah, we got it this morning around the same time as you and then slushlike snow this afternoon and evening. Nothing has stuck though...as soon as it hits the gound it melts...and it's freezing so I'm quite surprised.

Sari, I'm glad you are safe!...I know with the weather, that suddenly you'll end up with tons of snow where you are...and you have mentioned your little car isn't really geared for snow...

Well, it's all relative...for us 2 inches shuts everything down -- schools close, panic and mayhem sets in and the tv stations cover nothing but weather -- Stormwatch 2006!

Man this thread has turned into Red-necked Tupperware again ... isn't there 'another place' for that kind of 'conversation'

Come on PeaFlicker post your project topic posted son before it's too late and we have to go start another thread.
