they are good natural poses, to me anyway. The only thing I picked up was the background. in some of them you have something white in the top right of the photos, which I think distracts from the subject.

I think they look good, maybe PS out the flash in the eyes.

Really good snapshots. Excellent family album material. Tremendous job of eliminating the shadows that usually accompany on-board flash. Did you use a diffusor on your flash?

The shots look very good for being informal posing. The first model's features would have been better served with eye-level camera angles and 3/4 pose. The high camera level doesn't support her facial features.

BTW, lovely ladies.

fnord - Are the models sitting on the floor and you are shooting down on them or are you standing on a chair? The first shot is nice. Nice pose, pretty face, very nice. I love the way the wood floor is faded in the background but you can tell it's a nice wood floor.

Good lighting and exposure. I like the catchlights in all the photo's. it draws you to their eyey. A little saturation of the pupils and sharpening will make them standout

I like to see some light-shade combination on faces......by shade I mean less illuminated areas...IMHO this somehow gives some added emphasis on the expressions. Like your shots though.

I think the DOF is great in all of them. What is the EXIF for these? Did you use a bouncer, or did you bounce the flash off a wall? Maybe you could clone out the line on her boob in the 2nd. It's bugging me. You did a great job!

What do you mean when you say natural light?

Photo's and the gals look beautiful. Several poses are stunning. They all look a little to pink in the face, but maybe that is their natural coloring? Thanks for sharing.

Thanks all
These are all shot in my house, me standing the girls sitting on the wood and carpet flooring next to large window.
All shot with canon 5D + natural windows light (from behind) + 580ex bounced from wall (left side).
Faces PP as requested, they are both 22 years old so they did not want any pimples on display.

ISO 400 1/125 at f4 to F5.6 24-105 L
