Just curious, as it might also have to do with left/right brain thinking, since cameras only come one-handed.

Normally (not while using the camera since it's built for righties???), are you a lefty or righty for writing, brushing your teeth, throwing a ball?

I know there's a lot of creativity from you guys here, so wondering if it might have anything to do with this.

Is there a tendency towards more lefties or righties among photographers (could be, I don't know)?

I think I read somewhere that about 10% of the world population is lefthanded.

Well, I don't know where to put myself.

I write right-handed, throw a ball right handed, bat left handed, shoot a hockey stick left handed, golf left handed, and am left eye dominant. That make me a switch hitter? (and I don't mean in THAT way) ;)

since im a left handed... it an avantage for me, most of my lenses are heavy so being left handed... it gives me more stability when handling my camera.

Is there such a thing?

I would think so. I'm right handed but use my left eye. Unfortunately, my left eye is noticable worse that my right eye. Because of this, I've tried to use my right eye when taking pictures but I can't do it. My left eye is always dominant.

Extend your arm all the way and lift your thumb.
Looking with both eyes cover some detail on the screen, i.e. word handing? in the title of this post (Re: Right handed or left handing?).
Without moving your thumb, close one eye at a time.

The eye that does not change perspective (the thumb doesn’t seem to ‘move’ from the word handing) is your dominant eye.

So what does it mean if you cant cover any part of the word without closing one eye?
