Just wanted to say hi and introduce myself. :p

I am a 21 Year old University student from Aberdeen, Scotland and took up photography last year after a field trip to Spain and got my first decent camera Powershot A95 (decent to me :P ). Before that I had an old Finepix with 2Mpx with 4Mpx interpolation.

I would love to move up to a DSLR at some point and had my eye on the EOS 350D but that got dis-continued and replaced with the 300D. Some day I will have one. Some day.... :D

If you want to look at some of my work, my gallery is at: http://pandabean.deviantart.com (external link)

the 350D got replaced by the 400D. the 300D is an older version... and actually right now is a great time to pick up a 350D... you should be able to find new ones still available and the price on them is dropping like crazy... welcome to POTN.. were a friendly helpful bunch...

Saravrose: Sorry went the wrong way lol :S. I had a look for a 350D a while back and some of the shops didnt stock them anymore, especially Jessops who said they would only be able to get one second hand.

ohh.. you're over the ocean.. things happen more quickly there than here.. over here you are still able to find new versions online, but not in stores... well, the 400D is a very nice camera and a slightly used version of the 350D would still be a great deal especially considering your first DSLR..

Welcome to the forum. I liked your site, but is it deviant-art? Or Devian-tart? I kind of like to visualize a tart of godly stature. :D Anyway, if your looking to upgrade and do so inexpensively, now seems to be a great time as I have recently seen XTs with kit lens for just a pinch above $500 and used for less. But the A95is a good camera and takes great pictures as well.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.
I used to hate math but then I realised decimals have a point.
