Alamy and Noise reduction

Do any of you guy's / girls send to Alamy and if so do you use a Noise program or more to the point is it alowed on Digital camera images .
on some images that are very croped the noise get's quite bad when there sized up to 50MB's.
the bit i found on there site seems to relate to film

You might get a reply if you give us more detail about what you're trying to achieve, and what Alamy is. Not sure what you mean about 50MB files, but if you're just printing them, and you're sending as TIFF, then no need, JPG is as good so long as you only encode once during your workflow.

They are very very tight on quality control. They will reject anything that isn't spot on their requirements. They don't want images that have been sharpened in any way - but not sure what their view on noise reduction is.

agreed they are very fussy, they just rejected my entire DVD of 72 images. Without any reason. So I have mailed for a full report. They had no issues with my last six dvd I have sent.

Anyone recommend any other stock agency I could use.
