I need to order some 16x20 prints and 11x14 for a client. I where would you guys suggest for online ordering where the price is low but quality is still there, in mat finish?

The place I have been getting my enlargements done at does not offer them in mat, only gloss.

I was planning to use mpix for the online ordering, but wanted to see what you guys thought first.

I've tried Mpix, Costco and others. WHCC is by far the best. And generally less cost.

They will also ship directly to your client.

The prices are good there, and it sounds like they are excellent from what I read on their site, but I need to order my stuff like ASAP and they said it would be a few days before they would set up my account. I am not sure what to do... wait, or go with mpix?

I just ordered a number of enlargements from Mpix and was very satisfied with the quality. And it only takes a couple of minutes to set up the account.

Have you done a 16x20? I will be order several, and also 11x14. I have an account, I set up a while back with intentions of ordering, but never did. I see their shipping is lower than when I joined which is nice. What finish did you order?

The largest I've ordered is an 11x14, but it was perfect. And I use luster coating on all my prints. It looks much nicer that way.

I use www.whcc.com (external link) as well. The other attractive option is to have you prints mounted on one of several substrates -- foamboard is one but I like this 2mm thick styrene they offer. It does not dent and has nice feel to it, but any mounting does, of course, cost extra. Good luck, Dennis

Mpix can turn around in 24hrs if you pay the fedex 9.95 shipping rate. I have purchased many 20x30's and haven't had any complaints yet
