Hi There-

Thanks for posting your first photo. I remember getting all nervous as to what others would say when I posted my first. What matters most, is what you think of the photo. All else, falls on top of that.

Although I like the ducks, two things distract my attention. The Green table, somehow is not green enough to make the scene 'cartoonish', and also the colors on the ducks themselves.

I would suggest to keep working on this concept, but try to photograph these two ducks in the same positions, but at different places. From a tub full of water, to having them sit on top of a horizontal mirror, or the window of a bus travelling through an urban and grayish area, etc.

No matter what the subject is, every photographer should be able to find many ways to show the same subject, under different circumstances. What makes you better is the practice, just in setting up the photographs you will learn a great deal.

And keep posting results on this forum!... Everyone will be able to give you good input. Just remember to say that you welcome C&C if you truly do want constructive criticism.
