Very nice Dimitri

I'd say mother nature is practising her graffitti when she coloured those rocks :)

Very nicely and in a poeticly kind of way said my friend.;)

Dimitri,

a stunning picture, the colors of the sandstone are great. Is part of this formation under water at high tides? I agree with Lesmac about the sky but also think the sandstone colors could be brought out a bit. This was done with just the L channel in LAB space. The sky was darkened aand the ss brightened. There is a wealth of color in there. Excellent.

Jeff

Hmm,you got me there,i think that part of them is.
I took your advice about the colours, cheers.

Lovely Dimitri,

Looks like freshly melted lava. Nice to see the old backdrop of Arran in your shots. A reminder that it is indeed Ayrshire... and not Mars LOL.

Cousin... who will be here more often soon. :p

Great shots as usual, Dimitri. It does looks like a different planet! The colors in those rocks are just fantastic. I like the look of the distant mountains and the sky in the background too!

Very "ethereal" scene, Dimitri. Beautifully captured. I have never seen anything like it. Thanks for sharing.

I thought (hoped) this was Scotland when I first saw it. Nice shot, really interesting colours. So much great geology in Scotland. I plan to go up to Torridon at some point for some shots - check it out if you like sandstone and all that rocky stuff!

This shot is a peach - I'd be well proud of it.
