Blue Heron

Taken a few weeks ago in Brazos Bend Park in Texas

HTTP response: NOT FOUND | MIME changed to 'image/gif'

I commented earlier but must not have hit reply or something. Is that green algae?
If that is a heron I've never seen one so dark blue! Quite a contrast in colors.

Thanks for the comments. Yeah, that's green algae. There had been a lot of rainfall in the weeks prior, higher than normal. That's what I liked about that scene, the contrast in the colors.
