Im some what limited in the bags I can use, after someone ran my car off the road some years ago and left me with a damaged shoulder. Carrying any weight on it, for a long period of time leaves me with migranes etc.

Fortunatly I can carry limited weight on the other shoulder, so currently use a LowePro Nova 2 on my left side with the strap on my right shoulder, and a LowePro waist belt taking most of the weight.

Its a great little bag, the problem being its a bit small. Nice for day trips with limited gear, but I need something bigger.

Iv had a good look around, and so far the only hip bag I can find thats bigger is the Lowepro Orion AW.
Iv borrowed one before, and its a fantatic bag, fits nicely, and has loads of room, I can also wear it the same way I wear the Nova.

I don't like buying things with out looking at all the options, and so far its the only option Iv been able to find.

Can anyone suggest any alternatives?

You can check out the Speed Demon/Freak/Racer from ThinkTankPhoto. These are convertable hip-shoulder-waist belt bags.

I have the Speed Racer (along with lots of other TT gear) and it is very well-built and holds lots of stuff. The Racer I'm sur is too big for your requirements- but check out the other two.

That Speed Racer looks interesting, its actualy close to what Im looking for.

My Nova 2 has dimensions of: 8.5W x 4.25D x 7.75H in. / 21.5 x 11 x 19.5 cm
And the Orion AW belt pack is: 12.5W x 7D x 9H in. / 32 x 18 x 23 cm
The Speed Racer is a little smaller at: 11”L x 6.25”W x 10.25”H (28 x 16 x 26 cm)
