However, if you walk around the city shooting, make sure to take either a person along, or just take the 20D. I'd take the 5D, but I mean come on..I'm like 3 times your size. Then I'd take my revenge and post their really bad pics I have here and have you all laugh at them. --ALyssa

I go over their house. Beautiful day, nice soft light, the perfect conditions. The house had a beautiful back yard (the portrait location) with large trees, banks of flowers and tropical plants, nice ornamental iron benches and a fantastic terrace. I could close my eyes and point at any direction and the backgound will be perfect. Tom

Nov 22, 2006 07:54 | #22 Anxiety is the worst. It stops me from doing something fun. It makes me worry the whole time before a trip. Yes, I need to let things come by and roll along. Suzie - Still Speaking Canonese!

And if the weather is so bad the balloons are grounded...there isn't a whole lot of point in going...that is the main reason for attending! People that know me call me Dan

Worst dream I had was the CF card self-destruct one, I think I was shooting a wedding and that card had all the good stuff on it like the kiss and first dance...cause I remember attempting to explain what happened and then I think I died? Can't remember, but I was all shaken up.

The house had a beautiful back yard (the portrait location) with large trees, banks of flowers and tropical plants, nice ornamental iron benches and a fantastic terrace. I could close my eyes and point at any direction and the backgound will be perfect. So, I'm setting the family up and taking a couple of test shoots. Exposure, checked. CWB, set. Fill-in flash exposure, set. Compose and...click, good start! By now you are saying...that's no nightmare, that's a heck of a great dream! Well, here comes the nightmare part. Suddenly I'm having a heart attack. The family is looking at me like if I was a ghost. Unbelievable pain in my chest. Cold sweat dripping from my forehead and then everything went black....and then I started dreaming that I was inside of a rescue truck, medics asking me my name and stuff. You know that short stage when you wake up after a dream and reality is still a foggy feeling? For a few seconds I thought, what a nightmare! Then I woke up and realized that, this nightmare...was not a dream. I did actually suffer a heart attack on the morning of Sept 23 in the middle of a paid (had been paid already )shooting. Somewhere between the time that I dropped to the grass and the hospital, I died. Was shocked 4 times before my ticker went on again.Needless to say, anxiety is not part of my life anymore. I've done 3 more shootings since (plus the disrupted one) and I've learned to stay cool in the pre-shooting day. Just wanted to share a funny and looooong story. And remember, anxiety can kill you ![]()

Oh, you have no idea how hard I try to find humor at every turn of my daily life now. Is part of the new "be happy, not stressed" strategy. The funny part was the look on their eyes when I was having the heart attack, he,he,he. It is the last thing I remember seeing, and it makes me laugh everytime ![]()
