A lot of white spots on picture.

I never notice this before because i never look at the picture at 100% zoom on PS. When I did try I noticed a lot white spots on the picture everywhere. I checked out some picture from my friends XT and I noticed none. Did I get a defective camera?

I understand the noise but not the white spots.

Current: Canon 40D w/BG-E2N, Canon 30D, Canon 10-22mm, Canon 17-55mm 2.8 IS w/EW-83J, Canon 70-200mm 2.8L IS, Canon 580EX II, Crumpler 6 Million Bag, and B+W MRC on all my glass.

I see these were taken at ISO 1600 and in really low light (1/10th sec @ f/4) - They look underexposed and that is what happens - Looks like bad film grain.
There are a lot of jpeg artefacts as well - caused by compression of the files

I believe it is just really BAD noise....LOL

What settings were you using?
