There is a place i know, that when the tyde goes out it shows the mud flatt's.Which in turn shows all the channels that help drain the water. They all look like "canyons" in the mud :) .

This shot i took is a good example of not knowing the scale of whats in the shot. This could be a shot of something 1 ft tall, or a shot of rolling hills 100 ft tall  .

Very interesting shot Alan. I would never have guessed that it was mud flats. One can easily mistaken this shot as being taken from a plan looking down on rolling mountains. I like this.

Photographs are records of life. Pity they don't make music when you put them in a record player. :p

Wow, really cool, Alan. So, what is it...1 foot or 100 feet?

Excellent picture, I think. Your comment about the scale is spot on, that's exactly what I was thinking when I first saw it. The texture of it provides a very nice image of what looks half like water, from the tide's motion on top I guess?, and the dark but detailed lighting on this is excellent. I dig it!

Like how you have used the light to capture the tones and textures, and works well in B&W, my only slight nit is the lighter patch 2/3 up on right, I'd perhaps try and burn a bit more detail in?
