They are all great shots. The first is a little out of focus but is is hard to get a shot like that perfect.

Thats it.. Not much advantage for sport I am guessing as I have a very good sigma 70-200 which would be hard to beat at a footy match... .. but indoor use without flash for other areas I want to get into like plays or concerts.. well it's a must.. I saw some pics sir vic here took and although I appreciate you need more than just the lens.. I would deffo get more out of it..

joethephoto has one for sale on this MB but hasnt responded to PM as yet :(

Cheers so do i :) I think a good 120-300 is more versatile and I would prefer it over a 300. Just not my copy :( yet! :)

Cant afford a new 300... i convinced the wifey that I can sell my sigma to part pay for a canon is version though..

#1 is a bit soft but I kinda convinced myself.. from first seeing it in camera and thinking I had a big keeper.. then seeing it wasnt so great and trying to rescue it... I like the shot so much I ignored the quality.... it got the better of me and I really shouldn't do that should I... erk

I do prefer getting viewable/usable pics from night games than daytime... I have a cola league 1 game on friday night to do.
