My long awaited "duck" shot with 30D.

Not my "first duck" by a long shot but surely one of the most handsome - an adult male Red-crested Pochard (Netta rufina) shot at a lake at Quinta do Lago, Algarve.

That is a great picture of a pelican. I might have to get one of a seagull? :)

if you get a new lens or new camera body you are supposed to go out and take a photo of a duck and post it on the forum..........and not its not an offical rule
