Ok, as you can see in my sig I have had several digital cameras in the past few years. My problem is I dont remember which software disc came with which camera. I have recently turned the 20D over to my mom and now need to install the software for it, but which disc to use? Does it even matter which disc I use? Here is what I have so far:

In the 5D bag I have Version 11
In the 30D bag I have Version 12.1
In the SD700IS bag I have Version 25.x (Forgot the whole number)
In a misc bag I found Version 5 and DPP 1.1

Still have 2 discs AWOL, but if you could let me know if the above discs match up with their respective cameras and which discs am I missing (other cameras are the 10D, 20D, and G6) it would be much appriciated. Thanks!

pssst.... the 20D cd I have is version 9.1
if you can put up with 128Kbps upload speed from my machine, I've put zipped copy of the cd files on my webserver. PM me for the link...

some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:

The lastest versions of Canon s/w all support all their earlier model cameras. Just install for your mom the latest you have.

Is there anything on those discs that isn't downloadable from the Canon web site? I'd be inclined to just grab the latest stuff from there, and use the discs as coasters.

Only updates are available on Canons website, you can't get full versions of their software there. Kinda sucks since you mostly need a Canon dSLR to use the software so why be stingy on distributing it from their website?

That wouldn't be a very good idea if you want to install and use the software downloaded from the Canon website. Although they are all full versions of the software you still need to have the original software from the CD installed before you can install the version downloaded from Canon.
