I'll second that... never has a button been so wasted on a camera as the directprint thing on the 30D. Buttons and space are precious on a camera and a custom function button is very valuable.

can I just add the modest wish of having the mirror lock-up function not hidden among the custom functions ;)

ISO displayed on the top LCD screen and viewfinder would be awesome. Being able to customize the direct print button like I can on my G7 ;)

Auto ISO would also be cool in some situations. (but make it configurable like the Nikons)

I agree completely with ISO in the viewfinder - I don't know why that is so hard for Canon to understand.

I would like to have the ability to set different settings as to what you can set your WB contour with picture style in just a click of a button, of course you have to set manually like the D200 :-D

Gotta agree that the re-programmable print button would the easiest and most effective addition to the existing camera.

Use it for any one of the "hidden" functions. ISO, mirror lockup, take your pick.

To me it seems that the jury is out on self-cleaning sensor. Time will tell. Some of the spots I had took three or four wet cleanings - they wouldn't have vibrated off.

I'd like to be able to change the iso without having to jump through hoops to get there.
