I've had one about a yr. and have loved it. I use it for audio books but used it on vacation to back up CF cards. The screen as good as any and larger than the LCD on my 5D so it was nice to see images at the hotel in the evenings. I had one DVD worth of MP3s and all of the pictures and didn't begin to reach capacity of the hard drive. I don't have much to compare it with but the software seemed intuitive. My only complaint is the small closely spaced buttons.
That said, I just got a Zune for my wife. It's screen is equally good. Easily installed and used. Slightly smaller. My only gripe is that everything is extra. They can't even include a hard copy users manual. If you get their gadget bag it comes with the users manual. Chargeing is thru USB unless you pay and extra $29 for the ac charger. There add says it can transmit FM so you can listen in the car. But once you read closer you have to buy a transmitter that plugs into the docking port. Good luck in your choice.

yeah creative zen visions are sweet. a really good mp3/video player with a decent screen and most importantly a cf card slot so the transfer times are REALLY good....similar to epson 2000 and the like. it'll crash everyonce in a while, and you have to disconnect and reconnect the battery to restart...which is a pain, but certainly worth the cf card slot. comes highly recommended.
