A long time ago in a Forum far far away, Lord Malone started a thread with the idea of creating a book containing photos from POTN members.

The Great POTN Book Project has officially gone past the idea stage, and is well into the event stage. The Book will be published and publically available in early April.
Read The FAQ Here

One idea we had for the book was to place some "famous" quotes said by members, found in sigs, etc. So if you can know of any memorable quotes on POTN, please list them in this thread. As long as the quote can be found on POTN it's fair game.

Once we build up enough quotes we'll have a contest to pick the favorites for the book. That contest will start 2 weeks from today, on Wednesday December 6, and will run for 2 weeks.

Do you know a good quote? List it below....

You can take my 100-400 L away when you pry it from my cold, dead fingers.

"Whats he compensating for?" [Refering to a friend with a very large lens.]

"The eye is the window to the soul, the camera is the window to the heart and mind."

Lightstream....

"Remember, too, that obsessing about lenses just isn't necessary. They all take great pictures. But if it's fun for you, then do it! Messing around with cameras and lenses is safe, pleasant, legal, and harms no one. All things considered, it doesn't rank very high on the scale of silly vices."

I also like Claire's Sig line:

"You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say will be misquoted, then used against you"
