Very nice, I'd be tempted to clone the 'pole' out in the first one though.
Number two is lovely, great sky & the people add interest IMO.

Like 2nd one but I find the lighter tone between the arches and sky distarcting particularly on left side.

Like the 2nd one, the viaduct is at an angle and therefore allows you into the image better than the first.
Some halos that are distracting.

i wondered if it was due to using photomatix which can give a halo effect when pushed.

That's a fine collection of red arrows, Les.

I wondered, too if it was a result of some kind of image blending, although I've yet to see halos that bad with photomatix.

That's a really cool subject and I'd love to be able to photograph it myself. I love the lighting in the first one and how brillant the green looks.

The grey sky looks creepy to me.... But really liked the archs and angle... Incredible how to people walking give life to a photo.

Learning to respect others people work is a BASIC training rule !! Enjoy Photography.

What Kevin_C said. The 2nd has great impact. I'm wondering if taking a couple of steps forward would help lose the puddles without losing the composition? Nit picking, though, it's a good shot.

I prefer the second shot, but I agree with lesmac the halos let it down.
