I have been very patient.. I knew that at some point there would be some good color over the lake... I found myself stuck in my empty bar when I looked out and some one of the prettiest sunsets since i've been here.. My boss suprisingly let me go home for my camera.. this was taken in the banquet room of my resort.. couldnt' take it in my lounge there were too many trees in the way...

thanks Dimitri.. what do you mean by too far away?... too wide, I should crop or zoom it in a bit?... just wondering what changes you'd make or how you would shoot it differently to begin with..

Beautiful light, great capture, well done.

My only critique would be that your composition seems to be intended to keep the jetty out of the frame as much as possible... but, darn it, it's still there!! It would have moved to your left to try and use the jetty to add visual interest to the foreground without just being a distraction in the corner.

I would crop the lower part out, just above the tiny rock in the middle of the lake.

Nice colours and splendid light on the mountain top! Good job!

No Sari,i didn`t mean to make any changes, just meant that if the mountains were a bit closer, they would look more impressive thats all.

I like it alot! I think the distance make the shot moody.

thanks Dimitri.. I understand what you were saying, I ws going for getting as much into the frame as I could I should have thought about doing some tighter compositions... next time. the lake and I are both staying put for awhile.. Besides, this particular lake freezes in the winter.. I'm really, really looking forward to it..
