I received an Email about upgrading Photoshop to version 7 for about $150US. Can anyone tell me the compelling reasons (if any) to upgrade?

I can't imagine that anyone who values this forum would condone such a move. If you can't afford to buy a copy, then keep it to yourself and not try to encourage others to violate the law.
