I use the top compartment to insert the body on its side, provided i use either my 17-40 or my tammy 28-75. Its pretty snug. Now, If i attached a lens longer than that (such as my 70-200 f4/l), forget about it. Unless you can insert it with the body facing down the bag. I sinced moved to a much bigger bag.
