Emmanuel, thanks for these images. Is this going to be for sale as a poster somewhere? Bill D.--I also grew up in Pittsburgh, just to the left of these shots. In the first one you can see the lights of Heinz field just on the edge of the frame. It's approximately where Three Rivers used to be. You can see it clearly in the second shot. PNC park is (I think) visible just on the other side of the first bridge up the Allegheny. I haven't been back for years but am thinking of going back next fall. This remains one of my favorite parts of the world.

Yes. I sale all of my images to a local Art stores/commercial offices......

Emmanuel:

Your website is wonderful! You made me feel proud to be from Pittsburg. I was born in 1958. In the sixties you could ride trolly cars all around Pittsburg, and out to most of the suburbs. As of 1980 they still had a trolly line from South Park to Station Square, downtown. Are they still operating that line? As a kid, my friends and I would go downtown and walk up and down Liberty Avenue and adjacent streets. Is the Frick Arcade still open? Your photos really bring those memories back. You captured the spirit of Pittsburg! Thank You.
