I own his Inferno book (I think I paid around $100) and it's phenomenal. Probably the best photography book that I own.

thank you for your support. so i know you said you had the book, and paid about $100. but is there anything special about it that makes it so expensive? like great photo quality book? portion of proceeds go some where? i am defianlty thinking of ordering 1 of his books and then going from there. i really hate this( completly sarcasim) but i photojournalism has completly sucked me in and all i want to do is learn and shoot. acutally got my first shoot today and an Iraqi childrens hospital.

murtaugh, sorry for the delay, didn't see your reply earlier. I don't know what makes his book(s) more expensive than others. I believe that the books of that size and quality of prints are all priced pretty high.

If you haven't seen his DVD (http://www.amazon.com …23-6438502?ie=UTF8&s=dvd) (external link), I strongly recommend you - it's an amazing DVD. As I searched for the DVD, I came across the Inferno book and it's still around $100 (http://www.amazon.com …-6438502?ie=UTF8&s=books) (external link).

Which book were you looking at that was over $200?

Happy Thanksgiving!

I actually have War Photographer and watch it quite a bit, really good to learn from i think. I might have break down and get Indreno, heard lots of good stuff about it. The one i saw that was $225 at amazon was Lenfer, he's got another one Ground Level that is $115. It is just strange i have never seen books so expensive. but going to try one out and see what happens.
