Keeping the love alive for this lens. Some gourds that my wife decorated a while back.

this lens looks amazing i think i may have to invest. i purchased a 50mm 1.8 last week and dropped it and also got the raynox dcr 250. my only concern would be if i get this it will have been a total waste buying the raynox macro filter.

Dear Friend,
All I can say about this lens is hat, this lens is by far sharper than all of your existing lenses. You can use it as a macro lens, and also for head+shoulder portraits. It delivers excellently sharp images.no regret!

One from my Project 365...

I need to get a Ring Flash for my macro photography. The depth of field is so rediculously shallow when shooting close.

Ok time to give this thread a push...
I got lucky yesterday and found this fella in front of my house... never knew these grasshoppers lay their eggs between concrete tiles...
The whole egg-laying thing took about 1 hour.. (thats not why my watch is next to it ;-)a, thats just for size reference ;-)a )
I tried some different apertures also because i had great help of the sun (it so common and often necessary to use this lens at 2.8 ) i added the details underneath the pics.

It became kind of a series with a video at the end in 1080p wich i also took with the 60mm macro. I personally couldn't find anything with such detail on youtube, so i hope it will be a fine contribution.
