I recently tried to use my 15 year old 50mm MK2 lens on my 300D & 20D, and i keep getting the error 99 and no image is recorded, but the lens works ok on my EOS 10 film camera. Has anyone had this problem when using a 50mm MK2 lens on a DSLR?.

Nov 23, 2006 07:00 | #3 Not sure about Australia, but in the UK 50mm F1.8 Mk2s came in around 1990 the one that i am feferring to has a plastic mount and no distance scale, deinitely a MK2.
