Nymitch - I'm almost positive it's not there anymore. But read my post from a day or so ago and you'll see the complete explanation which will answer your question.

Basically Dell was offering TWO 15% off rebates in Small Bus Electronics, not counting the Canon rebate of $300 which could be doubled. Check the earlier posts. All of those COMIBINED brought it down to $1784 before tax. You had to act really fast on this one.

The price is see on the 5D on the Dell website is $3299, plus a +300 Mail in Rebate. Where is offered for $1700?

Go to:

http://www.dell.com/ (external link)

But here's the trick - not all specials are located in all categories I've found. See on the right hand side where it says "Home & Home Office" and also "Small Business" among Government, education, etc ?

When I got my deal on the 5D, it was showing in Small Business, but NOT in Home. You just have to keep checking those places, the web for coupons and notices, as well as this forum. That's how they play their games, for whatever reason.

And as you place your order, make sure you produce hardcopy of your transaction steps. "Stuff" happens as I found out the hard way. And also make sure you get a confirmation (email) right away, with your order number, just to give yourself the warm and fuzzy that the order REALLY WAS submitted.

It's reall not that hard Tareq - you just have to proceed all the way to checkout (your cart). Nothing is charged until you input your credit card and hit submit.

I wasn't in a rush for the spare body, and my patience paid off for an extra $420 savings. I'll be happy to put in the little extra effort for that kind of cash!
