Both are JPEG out of the camera, no PP at all, just resized, i think the EXIF data is included on the pics. I have RAW if needed.
The room is more low light in the second shot look like
The room is about 4.5x7m, false ceiling with 6 Boxes of white Fluorescent light, each box contains 4 Fluor. lights, i turned off the boxes and just used the farest left box while the door is in front of me to the right, so the room is low light at the door side (but not sure if that really enough low light for most people to consider), and the camera is handheld, forget the sharpness or shake, what you people think of these results?
I didn't use 3200 but i will do later if necesary.

here are more shots for the tests in one compressed file

not really sure what you are asking to be honest.... as for the shot, the first one is over exposed and the second is under exposed.

They're both soft, and both incorrectly exposed. Do this. ISO 400, f/5.6, 1/250. Manual mode. Put a speedlite on, point it straight up, and then one click forward. Take a shot. Post it up!

He did say "forget the sharpness or shake" so I think the question is more to do with metering. Tareq can you ask your question again with more detail?

looks like you need a new lens tareq:)

Its probably due to the flourescent lights strobing and taking a shot when they are at different points in their cycle...

sorry people, i didn't clarify my thread.
all what i want to tell you is that in fisrt and second photos i can't see noise as i shoot all the shots at ISO 1600, i even didn't use flash, even the first shot was taken in low light and i am wondering how did that happen to be overexposure in low light, no flash used, ISO 1600 and i will expect alot of noise i didn't use any noise removal software, is that because of integral noise reduction of camera maybe?
i am not talking about how sharp is lens or what i can do to expose my shots, just all these shots the first two and in all the compressed files are under low light to test noise level, so if that is correct test or i have to do more tests in different situations and settings?

I wonder why in a controlled environment two photos with the exact same exif came out way different.

I can't see noise but then again it only shows up at 100% crops or there abouts.

just tests, mate
I was expecting to see alot of noise as it is not 5D or 1Dsmk2 but it is look like free of noise little bit, in my second post i posted a link for first 2 shots original so you can enlarge them without crops or resized.
but still in first link of the compressed file there are shots show some noise different than first 2 shots, thats why i want to ask if there is something i don't know about exposures or meterings.

Tareq if what everyone says about larger sensor are true then you would expect it to have good noise levels especially since it was released the same time as the 5D :D

all said that 5D and 1Dsmk2 are the best in low light and noise level control more than 1D mk2/N, i want to get one of these ff and test it again more and see how much that difference in low light for both, i know all will say 5D and i saw some results here but maybe there is a way to have same results in some ways, i read somewhere that 1Dsmk2 handle better than 5D in low light but here the say opposite, and some tests on another websites do tests with 5D and 20D and Nikon D200, so what about 1Dmk2/N or 1Dsmk2 then?

Ah well that's easy ;) Fluorescent lights are not a continuous output light source, they actually flash on and off at a high frequency. When Tareq took the first shot the tube was in the on-cycle and during the second shot it was in the off-cycle.

Keep in mind that noise depends a great deal on proper exposure.

and i said that all shots are under low exposure.
all the shots in this thread was in the same exact light exposure, never changed my position or light conditions, and you can see some shots are noisy, so how come that they all different exposures and noise level while all of them taken at same light condition.
