I was invited to shoot a performance of 'Suspension'.
This was the first time I had witnessed anything like this.
Before anybody queries these images, they are REAL........

great shots man, do you know which team was going this suspension? The rig looks familar but I can't place it. Really sharp, awesome pictures. I love how the guy is smoking in the one pic. You should goto bmezine.com and submit your pictures. It's the body mod website that archives everything body mod. You won't be losing the rights to your photos or anything like that, so don't worry about that.

Not strange people really, they just do their own thing.
The team are from a peircing sudio in Sydney, and perform on a monthly basis at a nightclub. These images were from a private test shoot, I will be going again to shoot some better quality images soon.

Stupid question: are these specific piercings permanent? I notice no blood around the hooks.

They are some very interesting shots!

yeah...I agree. Strange doesn't have to be a bad thing...certainly doesn't mean they're bad people. But strange, for sure.

cool pics of it too! all have a very raw (appropriate I think) feel.

I don't think it's a bad thing, I just think its weird. I am strange, in my own little way.

Definitely, I'm too old to understand that stuff. Not for me, thanks. Pics are excellent, perhaps. They do have that "rough" look that fits the subject.
