It does but only for picture setting as Email. So you cant get the Date stamp on pictures for any other setting than Email.

Thanks

is it a requirement for you? you could (unless you wanted all your pictures that way) go into photoshop and just put it in there yourself.

Yes, you could use photoshop, or use a date stamper software... Here are two:

The first one isn't freeware, the second one is... The thing with that second one, is that stamps the date of file creation, instead of the date and time of the Exif... The first one on the other hand, takes the date and time directly from the Exif, so i think that's what you'd need...

I've searching for another freeware, but didn't find one...

Greetings,
Canon S2 IS

Thanks guys but I think im going to go with another camera on this one. I need the date stamp for court reason. My lawyer said I can use a digital camera only if it's put the date and time on the picture.

Putting a date stamp on images interests me too. I have this camera and I have the ZoomBrowser and ArcSoft Photo Studio software that came bundled with the camera. I can add the date manually with either application by reading the exif info and adding text to each image individually. Surely one of these two applications can put date stamps on a batch of photos? Anyone know how? I am finding it hard to comprehend how such a basic task is becoming a major hassle without using non bundled 3rd party software.
