Not sure I have anything to be jealous of ! Though I think the aurora borealis would be fantastic.
I have to admit, when I was living in the middle of nowhere(15 miles from the nearest blink and miss town) on a really clear night the sky was simply amazing. Now that I live in a town I really only see the brighter stars, which is a pity.... I still see the moon though

The Japanese have us beat there, but we can claim obesity as our own.

YAY OBESITY!

The japanese may have a grip on current technology, but none of it has had the impact on living of our previous inventions...cars....telephones...the internet...etc.

I remember seeing on CNN (or the BBC I can't remember) that there are more fat people in the world than there are people starving.

If that is ture, it raises some interesting points. There is enough food in the world to feed everyone, so why are there starving people.

Also something to keep in mind. obesity problem isn't just happening in the states, NZ also has a problem and I also believe that the UK has a problem.

Oh yeah, that's why. Dang, I knew it was a catch somewhere! :D

Nooo... I'm the Grinch, I ate Rudolph already and plan to eat Blitzen for Christmas... less gifts for Santa to carry in his sledge, so in a few more years no Christmas anymore! MUahahahaaaaaaaaaaaa.....

ohh dear, I am keeping away from you ;) If you ever came to NZ I am sure you would wont to try and eat the kiwi.

And before anyone asked, no we don't eat them. In fact they are endangered and those in the know think they are going to be none left in the main country island within 50 years.

Mark, my dad is in Christchurch as I type this, he'll be there for the next 5 months or so. Let me know and I'll have him come knocking on your door. :D
