If it could go wrong it did.

Packed up the scope and camera equipment and headed up to Joshua Tree National Park to watch the Leonids with the entire family last weekend. Started setting up the scope only to find out I was missing two wing bolts that mounted the scope to the wedge on the tripod. So everytime I moved the scope it would slip out of alignment. I also forgot the remote cable for the camera so the longest exposure was only 30 seconds. And to top it off my focusing was a tad off.
We did manage to catch a few Leonids but the total we saw was around 20. Still had a great time! Anyway I finally got around to process a few images. Each are 16 exposures stacked at f/4 @ 30 sec, ISO 800. I usually shoot f/7.1 at ISO 200 for 3-5 minutes per exposure. Hope someone can learn from this cause I know I did!
