Or maybe I'm just antisocial and don't want to talk to anybody while I'm shooting? Just because both of us have a camera, doesn't mean we're best buddies or something.
I don't think it's got anything to do with both having cameras, it doesn't cost anything to be civil to someone. If your busy and need to concentrate just tell the person that. I think there's a hell of a lot of snobbery and one up man-ship in photography. Personally I rarely get people approaching me if I'm out and about. Probably because I have a Mohican hair cut, and for some strange reason people can be intimidated by the way someone has their hair cut
